Capri Court – Oman

In the middle of the romantic Omani mountains, between the massive land, and the sparkly blue sea, lays a meal waiting for all kuweaters to enjoy at shangrila resort. Though it is the home of ten fine dining restaurants, we have chosen last years Omani “Restaurant of the year”. Capri cort, an Italian restaurant with one of the most creative menus we’ve seen.

Seating arrangements in the restaurant was organized beautifully, viewing the coast; truelly a romantic setting for a couple to enjoy. The service was out of this world, nothing I’ve ever experienced before, not in a million years did I think that the best features in a restaurant would be combined in an Italian restaurant in Oman, boy did they prove me wrong. I fell in love from first bite.

Key ingredients of Italian cuisine, make it what it is;the fresh bread, cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil and the gormet pastas. I always tend to order something extra, to spice up my meal since I never had a dish that was one hundred percent to my kuweaty taste. This all changed at Capri Cort. I did not once order anything extra or on the side.

Their beef Carpaccio was delish cut the right thickness with their fresh zesty rocket, topped parmesan cheese. The perfect traditional appetizer with kuweaty quality we all adored.

Their Entree selection was limited, and very straightforward. However, they didn’t to add anything else. They truly gave a new meaning to quality over quantity. Racklamb risotto drenched in saffron sauce, and their signature lasagna was both exquisite. I wished the meal never finished; one of the best, if not the best Italian dining experience of my life. Kuweaters, till we go to Milan, this is where you go to enjoy the best Italian experience of yours.
