Delices De France – Miami
This bakery is what every bakery should be; they had me from Bonjour!
Delices de France is a hidden gem close to Pinecrest. The French bakery is open early in the morning for those who are up early and require a coffee brewed to perfection. The bakery is a tiny store, however, it is important to note that on weekends crowds of people are awaiting patiently in line to have their next meal.
I have tried about everything in that store which has always been absolutely delicious. The brioche is incredibly soft and what adds that uniqueness to it is the sugar on top and hint of lavender mixed with the sugar. Definitely an inevitable addiction. My favorite is the croissants which are either plain, chocolate filling, turkey and cheese, or ham and cheese. They are beyond excellent; crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. The cheese is usually toasted around the croissant and the remaining cheese melts inside. Furthermore, the plain croissant and baguettes are used to create fresh sandwiches that are beyond fresh.
Finally, their desserts – keep room for dessert. They will not disappoint anyone. Seems to be like they were shipped from Paris; crème brulee, éclair, mousse de chocolat, and tart de fruit. Everything is absolutely sweet to perfection.
