Novecento – Miami

Beneath the Miami skyline, lies a small speculate wrapped in a red sign with elevating red umbrellas in a belt of mini bushes. Novecento offers outdoor or indoor seating, whether you want a quiet lunch with some friends or a lively one with music on a Saturday night.  We’ve been eating there for a while, and would love to share our favorite dishes with you Kuweaters. This is good food, from its original Argentinean menu, to the fusion of Latin American, and Mediterranean food.

Not knowing whether I want pasta or some serious food, we always end up sharing the four cheese ravioli, and substituting the cream sauce with their saffron sauce. The creamy saffron sauce is absolutely mouth watering! But then comes the dilemma of ordering their Lomo steak, which is served with a sweet potato puree, or the Salmon a La Parilla , that’s topped with a tropical blend of mango and cilantro with a zesty squeeze of lemon. We guarantee however, you will love both.

The steak is cooked to perfection; the side of potato puree is fresh and creamy. Put them together and you have something that melts in your mouth. If your looking to eat something lighter, the salmon is your dish, with their steamed jasmine rice, and that mango topping truly makes this salmon dish unique. We also love the “Ensalada Blue Cheese con Peras”. An amazing fusion of greens, pears, and walnuts with a blue cheese dressing that is so light it will be the perfect start to an amazing meal.

The outdoor seating is our favorite, especially at night…
